I can’t sew. Like, at all. Over the years I have taken many lessons, owned more than a few machines, and tried my hardest, but it’s never really been something I have been good at. That whole seam ripping/measuring/thread tension thing frustrates me. This doesn’t mean that I don’t find sewing machines to be sexy, especially when old. And since my husband has been looking to learn to sew (that’s so cool, right?) I knew I couldn’t pass this baby up when I saw it at the thrift store yesterday.

This vintage green Elna needs a quick once over by the sewing doctor And we’ll be off and running. And even if I never become a sewing master myself, I think this little green beauty is pretty fab.
